How To Set It Up

Note: I got a set with parts included. You might have to do a bit of scavenging to find some parts.

  1. Get the Raspberry Pi and put it in a case (this is not essential to using the Raspberry Pi, but will provide protection).

  2. Insert the SD Card - or memory card - into the socket. It is smaller than a quarter!

  3. If you would like Wi-Fi, plug in the Wi-Fi dongle.

  4. Plug in USB keyboard and mouse.

  5. Plug in HDMI Monitor with HDMI Cable.

  6. Turn it on by plugging power supply cord in and install the softwares you would like (Raspbian, Scratch, etc.).

  7. Wait. And then Wait even longer, The Raspberry Pi is a very slow computer.

  8. Finally, start using the Raspberry Pi!!!
